Must have a strong focus and attention to detail to serve as a Finance intern.  In your role you will gain experience with the ‘everyday’ business environment associated with a financial institution. 

Primary Responsibilities & Duties 

1.     Work involves analysis to determine standard costs of products and services that feed the cost system used by upper management.   

2.     Modify the managerial costing system to specifics directed by upper management. 

3.     Will assume additional duties as requested by the Director of Finance. 

4.     Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union. 

Specific Skills 

·         Ability to work in a Windows based environment and process information using spreadsheets and databases. 

·         Clear communication and human relation skills and decision-making ability. 

·         Ability to use and learn new technology. 

Accountability 

·         Accountable for assisting the Director of Finance with projects and daily financial analysis. 

·         Responsible for extracting data from the Data Warehouse for use in financial and marketing reporting. 

·         Accountable for understanding and applying government laws and regulations and Everwise Credit Union policies and procedures relating to the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US PATRIOT ACT and OFAC. 

·       High School diploma (GED) 

·    Currently attending a college or university.  Student will be entering their junior year for 2024 school year and pursuing a business finance degree.
